I have never seen him have any sort of reaction to my parents dogs, and when he was a kid he wasnt allergic to dogs. I’ve recently been exposed to some household pesticides (pyrethrins) that are supposed to be safe but can irritate your lungs. Well, lately I feel that I am not breathing very well or deeply, and immediately after exposure my lungs feel tight and constricted. I’m in my early 30s and I’ve only been feeling this way in the past year, since being exposed to these chemicals.

Is this likely to just be an allergic reaction or could I actually develop asthma from exposure to these chemicals?

My labrador has horrible allergies. She’s been to the vet several times and has been treated with everything from steriod and cortizone shots to antibiotics to shampoos and anti-itch creams and more. While the symptoms will go away after each treatment, they always come back and I hate to see her suffering from constant itching (not to mention all the treatments are getting ridiculously expensive and they don’t solve the problem long-term anyway). Does anyone have any suggestions or know of any homopathic/natural remedies? Thanks.

I don’t get allergic to dogs or anything like that, I’ve basically had them my whole life. But the problem is is that I have guinea pigs which I love DEARLY, and I’m allergic to them! I get rashes below my chin, and above my chest. I don’t get bumps or anything though, I only get bumps from rabbits, which occur on my face. Does anyone know of medicine that I can use to treat these allergies?
