A family member of mine is allergic to short haired dogs. I like a certain breed, but it happends to be short haired. I have been looking at this breed for several years now. I really don’t like the longhaired breeds. I looked and I am pretty stuck on this breed. Can we get rid of these allergies for good?

I am a twelve year old and I was thinking of getting a pet rat after my hamster dies. Do you think it would be a good pet for me? I have allergies to long animal fur and shedding animals. I am also getting a dog. Would it still be a good idea?
I wasn’t going to neglect my hamster, if you must know. I play with himeveryday, and only have his best interests in mind. I was just wondering. Gosh, can’t a girl ask one question without getting one negetive answer that doesn’t help the situation. Not trying to say any names SARAH M!

Hi I have been trying to get a pet for a while, unfortunately I live with a person who’s extremely allergic to pet dander. What kind of pets would you suggest having that would be safe, specially having it around to someone with allergies?

I suffered two anaphylactic shocks in the past 13 months due to consumption of foods that contained iodine. I don’t want to develop a large neck (due to goiter or hypothyroidism), so how can I stay healthy with an iodine allergy?
