I’m concerned about my small child. We are going to an allergist because of a peanut allergy - but I don’t want her to be stuck with several needles. How far has modern technology/medicine come as far as testing for allergies is concerned. What is the least invasive technique?

Pablo asked: What are some symptoms of severe eye allergies? or some results of severe eye allergies?
Anything from contacts to redness; and I already know Conjunctivitis…
If you can name some symptoms of allergies such as Conjunctivitis that would be very good.

hmbrown97 asked: I have 3 children, 2 of them have been diagnosed with mild to severe allergies along with myself and my husband. We live in a house that was built in early 70’s. The carpeting is very old, and contributing to the children’s allergies. I am trying to find out if replacing the carpeting would qualify as a capital expense for tax purposes. Do I need any special paperwork from MD?
Thanks for information.

Julie6962 asked: What are they allergic to? Are they on medicine or did you just change food?
My kitty seems to scratch and groom a lot and sneezes much more than his brother. I’m wondering if he’s got allergies.

We just got this long haired cat a month ago. And now my dad is starting to be allergic to cats even though we’ve had cats all our life. He hates cat’s so I need something to decrease his allergies of her by alot so he doesnt suggest getting rid of her. (which I will not do).

I have skin allergies to dust mites and was wondering if exfoliating my skin would effect this allergic reaction? Anyone know the answer to this?

I believe that I have seasonal allergies. I took a claritin and then took some more allergy medicine later and basically passed out. I’m just curious what causes seaonal allergies and what some good remedies are for it? Also, is there a way to know in advance if the air outside will be bad for allergies? I’m assuming that seasonal allergies are due to pollen and mold in the air. Maybe someone with more expertise in this field could kindly go in to detail about it for me. Thanks.

If you have several allergies to food items, or sugar substitues etc and you are getting a blood transfusion. What if the blood you are getting lets say came from someone that uses sugar substitues alot or eats the kind of food you are allergic too. Will that have any affect on your body when they do this procedure?

I’ve been diagnosed with an enlarged prostate and sudafed tends to make that problem worse. I’ve seen that Thumus Extracts and Quercetin are suppose to be good for allergies, also bee pollen. Anybody had any luck with this? Thanks…

I have been having TERRIBLE allergies lately and it seems they are getting worse. Especially in my room. I wake up every morning with all the miserable symptoms. I’ve heard about dehumidifiers but I wonder if they really work well for stuff like this.
