they have dogs that don’t shed and are good with people who have allergies. google non shedding dogs and it will give you a list for breeds of dogs that won’t bother you.

Try reptiles–iguanas, water dragons, geckos, snakes, all make great pets and are allergy-free.

I’m sorry about your allergies. That doesn’t really leave you with a lot of choices. There are some “hypoallergenic” animals that you can turn to. But I wouldn’t buy any animal before knowing if you can handle the attacks. It really depends on what you want. If you want a dog get something that has very low to almost no dander. Usually Poodles, Mexican Hairless (not the most attractive), Yorkies, there are some others. Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, Ferrets, Hedge Hogs, Chinchillas, Hamsters I think all have this dander and might cause your allergies to act up. Some birds have it and some don’t. Like Cockatials and Parakeets and Cockatoos have high levels of dander but I own a Green Cheek Conure and their levels are low to none. Just study up on the types of animals before buying. You really have to look at it this way, if you really love your animal you’ll find a way to overcome it. For example, my aunt loves her horses but is highly allergic to them. She still rides though, she just dopes up, so to speak, before riding. But then again you may find an animal that your not allergic to and another that you are. Another example, my sister-in-law is highly allergic to dogs, she breaks out bad when around them, but can have cats. The only time she doesn’t break out is at my house. We own a Carin Terrior Poodle mix and his dander levels are very low. So Good Luck in you quest for an animal, I am sorry that this answer is so long. I just really wanted to help you.

Buy a hypoallergenic cat.
It is allergy-free cat.
But there may be no hypoallergenic cat in your location, depends where you live.

Take a teaspoon of LOCAL honey each day and, within a month or so, you won’t have any air born allergies-dust, smog, mold, mildew pollen and PET DANDER. The honey will work with your body to help develop immunities from anything floating around in the air. You will also notice that you get less cold and flu symptoms as well, as the local honey takes effect. This really works and it has no side effects, tastes good, is easily accessible and inexpensive.

Just read the answer about the local honey & wanted to confirm this - you have to get it within the local area & have it every day but it really does work for allergies. Good luck.

Maltese dogs are your best bet. Im highly allergic to animals, and Ive had 3 malteses for the past 14 years.
