Hi. We just got a puppy and my allergies are really bad. We also have a cat and it’s more than I can handle. Which air purifier do you recommend for smells/ dander/ dust and everything else? We have a 2300 square foot house but I’m mostly concerned w/ our bedrooms. Should I buy one big unit to cover the entire area or should I buy three smaller units to put in our bedrooms?

I can tell you from personal experience that the Friedrich C908 Air Purifier is AMAZING. There are two drawbacks, though: it costs $539 and it the dimensions are 19″ H x 15″W x 21.5″ D.
If the size and/or cost are do not meet your liking you should check out other purifiers from this website:
Unfortunately the most effective air purifiers are expensive.

I agree with the last post and I think that a quality one is worth the extra price.
I have one for the entire house and it cost about $500 on sale.
I can offer you one for the same price, let me know if your interested.
