Can border collies make my allergies act up from pet dander read for details?

no matter the length of the hair they will shed it. an air purifier may not remove all of the dander from the air. yes it could make your allergies act up. how about getting some allergy testing done and get some RX for it. the doc may tell you not to have a dog so be ready for that. do expect some allergy issues if you have had them in the past. it does not matter your age or gender….people can develop allergies to things and if something is an irritant it can become an allergy. sorry. best wishes.

Length of hair and shedding don’t matter much in regards to allergies since it is the dander in the skin you are reacting to typically. You will most likely still suffer even with an air purifier.
