3 year old male flashy reverse brindle boxer named Lennox, neutered, utd, potty trained and crate trained. Good with cats and pre-teens. He will knock the little ones down. High energy (loves to run). Would do best as an only dog but can get used to another. He is the alpha in our home and would do the best with a submissive companion. He is also micro chipped and walks good on a leash if he has a pinch collar.
He would be free with all of his belongings to the best candidate. Let me know if you are interested.

Why not put him on petfinder.com or place him with a Boxer rescue. Never give a dog away, people often sell (free dogs they have gotten from classified ads & such) to research centers for horrific testing, and some are used for bait in training fighting dogs.

I, also, am allergic to dogs, but my allergist assures me that this is no reason to “get rid of them”. Speak to the doctor that diagnosed your child about how to live with pet allergies…my doctor gave me some great advice that works, and also…your child MAY be able to take desensitizing shots to allow him to keep living with the dog (they DON’T hurt). I understand you want what is best for your child, and I don’t blame you, but I want to encourage you to explore your options before you do something you may regret. I know children with allergies who just hate their parents for not letting them have a pet, and studies show that kids who grow up with pets have LESS allergies and asthma. Your child may even “outgrow” these allergies. Just wanted to encourage you to think it through before you act.
