I was diagnosed with adult asthma maybe a year or so after getting sick with the flu and walking pneumonia. Did those illnesses cause the asthma. Up until that point I was a competitive athlete with no problems. Just curious how asthma can just “pop” up like that.

When we live in a world where we can actually SEE the air we breathe…well…it’s no surprise anymore. One’s immune system deteriorates with age and there is your explanation.

Asthmatic Attacks are usually brought on by allergens in the air you breathe, even if you’ve had no prior allergies, these can develop VERY suddenly.
And once you get Asthma, it usually stays for the rest of your life.
