Friend is allergic to codeine and opiates and needs info. on medicine that will work?

Ow! It’s painful just hearing about that!
I have to watch prescription painkillers too: Some will literally make me sick if I try to take them in the intended dose. The last time I needed any, I took Tylenol. I don’t know if it will help your friend or not, but it did help me.
