My 22 month old has constent watery eyes and a runny nose most of the time. She has been this way since she was just a baby. My Dr told me the watery eyes most likely means she has allergies and to get childrens benidrill. We do that but it does not help.
I am planning on making an appt to see what else we can do for her but how old do they need to be before they can be fully tested??

My daughter was tested at 2 and has allergy induced asthma. Talk to doctor and he will let you know what the testing involves.

do you really want to put your child through that? i had allergy testing and it was a painful and horrible experience. im not sure what age you have to be but trust me it is not fun in the slightest.

My daughter was tested at 8 months with just a blood test. They can test for a full panel of allergens by drawing some blood, I would recommend you ask your pediatrician about it at your next appointment.

Our pediatrician wouldn’t test until our son was 2, because she said they won’t get conclusive results until that age.
