I have itchy watery swollen eyes that I recieved shortly after eating Ball Park beef franks last night. Other than hot and cold compresses and an allergy medicine, I don’t know what else to do.

Hot compress will make it more swollen. Stick with the ice. That would be an unusual allergy, are you sure it’s what caused it? There are special eye drops for allergy sufferers that might help.

use saline eye drops, you can get them in the dollar stores and they are harmless and do the job

For common allergy’s the eye doctor can put stents in your drain ducts.

I get this often as I’m allergic to our cat and get hayfever. Flushing with cool water is best and it would be good to boil it first. I do get eye drops from the Dr for when its really bad. Don’t rub them, even though thats all you want to do. The best thing other that flushing is to go to sleep, as when they are closed they can self wash. It sometimes aches to keep them open. Oh yeah and don’t eat beef franks again!

If you have already taken allergy medicine, just give it some time for your eyes to heal. Now is the perfect excuse to have some rest.

Go to the pharmacy or walmart and buy an eye cup, inexpensive saline, some allergy eye drops and some Benadryl.
    Take the benadryl.
Wash the cup and fill with saline and 2 drops of the allergy medicine, hold to your eye and tilt back your head, open your eye and look around with the cup still on your eye. No it doesn’t hurt it feels great. Rinse cup and do the other eye.
The Benadryl will relieve the allergy reaction from the inside and the saline/drops will remove from the outside. You probably touched you eyes with something on your finger tips.
If you ever have the reaction again you will already have this stuff on hand to treat it right away.
Cool compresses will help, skip the hot.
